On love......Wednesday, June 11, 2003
1. How many times have you truly been in love?
once...but is it really true love if that person never loved you back? still, i loved him dearly.
2. What was/is so great about the person you love(d) the most?
he supported me and made me feel safe. there were always those moments when i would look into his eyes and feel my heart break for him. he was my first love. what more can i say?
3. What qualities should a significant other have?
sensitive, kind, gentle, sexual, supportive, understanding, caring, loving, sense of humor...
4. Have you ever broken someone's heart?
to some extent...yes. i have rejected people, but that's not really what i'm thinking you mean.
5. If there was one thing you could teach people about love, what would it be?
hmmm..."for me, love was the most amazing feeling. all i could ever think about was him, and being with him meant smiling through every moment of it. it was the most amazing, enlightened feeling i've felt. i felt secure and insecure at the same time. the only thing that scared me was losing it all. it was like a craving for that one person that got more intense every minute apart and an explosion whilst together. it's this incredible physical and emotional need for the other person, and this sense of perfection that you see only in them, even through their faults. you no longer have this need to prove yourself to that person, and you feel accepted by them no matter what. with it also comes pain though. i hated being away from him because i was not ready for love at the time. i was insecure about myself and was afraid of losing all that i felt for him and all that he felt for me. sometimes just looking into his eyes made me cry, out of joy and pain for feeling so much emotion for one person. i could go on and on...but i'll stop at that." that's something i wrote a while ago to kathryn. i suppose that sums some things up. another thing about love is making sure that the other person means it when they say "i love you" cos that can seriously fuck you up if you find out they don't.

There needs to be clutter or else I can't be comfortable, but it can't be so disordered that I'll go crazy. This applies to most rules except my own room, which you currently cannot get into because the door won't open. That's how bad I am. It's mostly due to being a pack rat too.
5. Do the rooms in your house have a theme? Or is it a mixture of knick-knacks here and there?
There really aren't any themes. Most of them are quite random because my mum has a strange sense of style. I love it though. We have a weird assortment of things.
On blogging......Friday, February 14, 2003
1. Explain why you started to journal/blog.

Most people know about my blog because I like to give them the ability to read it but not force them to.

I'd like it to keep being honest and from the heart.
